Antonin ("AJ") Scalia
Chief Executive Officer
AJ Scalia joins Cathedra from Galaxy Digital, a diversified financial services firm dedicated to the digital assets sector. While at Galaxy, AJ held various roles across the firm’s investment banking and principal investments divisions. He was also a founding member of Galaxy’s bitcoin mining business, which built out the firm's proprietary mining operation and offers financial services to North American bitcoin miners. Prior to joining Galaxy, AJ began his career in J.P. Morgan’s technology investment banking group, advising on mergers and acquisitions and raising capital for large-cap technology companies. AJ holds a BBA in Finance from the College of William and Mary.
Thomas ("Drew") Armstrong
President & Chief Operating Officer
Drew Armstrong joins Cathedra from Galaxy Digital. He was a founding member of Galaxy's bitcoin mining team and helped build out Galaxy's mining equipment finance ("MiFi") product. Drew also worked in the firm's investment banking and principal investments divisions. Prior to joining Galaxy, Drew began his career at Barclays' investment bank, where he focused on the origination of esoteric securitized products, such as data center securitizations and collateralized fund obligations. Drew holds BAs in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Chicago.
Inar Kamaletdinov
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kamaletdinov has years of experience in the Canadian capital markets as a finance executive across a range of high-growth sectors. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). Mr. Kamaletdinov is the co-founder of and Partner at Imperium Consulting, a firm providing corporate accounting services. He previously was a Senior Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young.
Rete Browning
Chief Technology Officer
Rete Browning is responsible for designing and commercializing novel applications of technologies for use in Cathedra’s bitcoin mining operations. Rete also leads the company’s R&D initiatives and assists in managing Cathedra’s manufacturing operations. Prior to joining Cathedra, Rete was a founding member of Great American Mining, where he served as Principal Engineer. Rete is trained as a chemical and petroleum engineer and as a technology and energy analyst. He brings to Cathedra his expertise in the energy industry—both conventional and alternative—and bitcoin mining industry.
Isaac Fithian
CHIEF FIELD OPERATIONS AND MANUFACTURING OFFICER
Isaac Fithian oversees Cathedra’s in-house manufacturing operations. Isaac also manages remote field operations for bitcoin mining deployments and assists with special R&D projects. Prior to joining Cathedra, Isaac was a founding member of Great American Mining, a bitcoin mining company focused on off-grid operations, where he was responsible for designing and building prototype modular data centers, maintaining fleet uptime, and remote management logistics.
Gavin Qu
Chairman
Mr. Qu was an investor in and co-founder of Kungsleden Inc.’s predecessor entities in 2022. Prior to Kungsleden, he was an investor in and operator of over 200 megawatts of bitcoin mining capacity across dozens of sites in the United States in roles at various companies. Mr. Qu began his career in Goldman Sachs’ sales and trading division in Hong Kong and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Tom Masiero
DIRECTOR
Mr. Masiero co-founded Kungsleden Inc.’s predecessor entities in 2022 and has been responsible for growing Kungsleden’s power capacity under management to an expected 90 megawatts as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Kungsleden, Mr. Masiero worked as Cathedra’s Head of Business Development in 2022, deploying the Corporation’s fleet of over 4,000 latest generation Bitmain mining machines. Earlier in his career, Mr. Masiero co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for Great American Mining, one of the first companies to mine bitcoin off-grid using flare gas in the oilfield, which was acquired by Crusoe Energy Systems in 2022. Mr. Masiero brings decades of experience across internet and digital media, entrepreneurship, and bitcoin mining.

Marcus Dent

Marcus Dent is a media personality and thought-leader in the Bitcoin industry. He is the founder and owner of a Bitcoin and free markets-focused media company, which he operates under the pen name Marty Bent, that has educated millions of people about Bitcoin’s potential. He is also a venture partner at Ten31, a venture capital firm focused on making early-stage investments in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Previously, Marcus was the director of business development at Great American Mining ("GAM"), a bitcoin mining company focused on off-grid deployments using non-rival energy sources such as natural gas that would otherwise be flared throughout oil fields.
David Jaques

David Jaques was the founding CFO of PayPal and SVP of Silicon Valley Bank. He brings the viewpoint of a senior level financial executive with experience in private equity, early stage high-growth companies and banking. David is currently the CFO of Greenough Consulting Group which provides advice to emerging, mid-market and private equity firms.
Matthew Kita
DIRECTOR
Mr. Kita is an experienced corporate attorney having spent time in both private practice and in-house, most recently as Chief Legal Officer of Axiom, a bitcoin focused finance company. Prior to joining Axiom, Mr. Kita served as general counsel of Cathedra as well as held various positions within the legal departments of BitGo and FIS. Prior to working in-house, Mr. Kita practiced at the law firms Reed Smith and Stevens & Lee. Mr. Kita holds both an undergraduate degree in Economics and a law degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a LLM in taxation from Temple University.
